The Digital Sathi Training Centre at Rajouri Garden recently hosted a short but impactful session on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Skill Development, conducted by representatives of the Wadhwani Foundation. The session was led by Ms. Preeti Arora and Mr. Sachin Agarwal, who engaged with trainees and staff to highlight the growing role of AI in enhancing vocational education and employability.

The primary objective of the session was to introduce the Learning Management System (LMS) developed by the Wadhwani Foundation for the Retailers Association’s Skill Council of India (RASCI). The LMS is designed to strengthen digital learning, assessment, and industry-aligned skill training, particularly for youth from underserved communities.

The Digital Sathi Training Centre, located within the District Magistrate Office, West District, is run and managed jointly by IACT Education and Trinity Foundation. The centre is committed to social inclusion and currently offers 100% free skill development training to candidates from economically weaker sections.

During the visit, trainees actively interacted with the Wadhwani Foundation team, who demonstrated key features of the LMS and explained how AI-driven tools can improve learning outcomes, monitoring, and job readiness in the skill ecosystem.

Shri Nitin Shhakya, SDM Patel Nagar, appreciated the initiative and acknowledged the importance of such technology-driven interventions. He stated that informative and future-oriented training programs like these are essential for empowering youth and assured facilitation of more such awareness and capacity-building sessions for candidates enrolled at the Digital Sathi Centre.

The session reinforced the shared commitment of government, industry partners, and training institutions toward leveraging digital innovation for inclusive skill development and youth empowerment.
