New Delhi, India:
In a significant step towards strengthening India’s employability and skilling ecosystem, IACT Education Private Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Skills Development Network (SDN) of the Wadhwani Foundation to collaboratively enhance employability, entrepreneurship, and workplace readiness among college students across the country.

The MoU was formally signed between Mr. Sunil Dahiya, Executive Vice President – Skilling, Wadhwani Foundation, and Mr. Rajiv Kumar, Director, IACT Education, marking a strategic collaboration aimed at bridging the gap between academic education and evolving industry requirements.

Enabling Future-Ready Skills at Scale

Under this partnership, SDN will provide free access to its globally developed Wadhwani curricula, digital content, structured methodology, and Learning Management System (LMS) to students enrolled through IACT Education’s institutional network. These programs will be embedded into the academic learning calendar, with a strong focus on final-year students, ensuring they graduate with industry-relevant competencies and workplace readiness.

The collaboration encompasses 21st-century employability skills, interview and job-readiness training, professional communication, problem-solving, entrepreneurial mindset development, sectoral upskilling, and post-placement learning support, aimed at improving job retention and long-term career progression.

Faculty-Led Mentorship and Institutional Capacity Building

A core element of the MoU is faculty capacity building. Faculty members associated with IACT Education will receive training, certification, and mentoring support from SDN, enabling them to effectively guide students through structured, outcome-oriented digital learning programs.

This faculty-driven approach ensures scalability, sustainability, and consistent quality of outcomes across participating institutions.

Leadership Perspectives

Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Sunil Dahiya, Executive Vice President – Skilling, Wadhwani Foundation, said:

“At Wadhwani Foundation, our focus is on enabling large-scale, sustainable employability outcomes by working closely with credible education partners. This collaboration with IACT Education allows us to extend our globally benchmarked employability and entrepreneurship programs to a wider network of colleges, ensuring students graduate with the skills, mindset, and confidence required to succeed in today’s dynamic job market.”

Mr. Rajiv Kumar, Director, IACT Education, added:

“This partnership with the Wadhwani Foundation’s Skills Development Network is a significant milestone for IACT Education. By integrating world-class digital curricula and faculty-led mentoring into academic ecosystems, we aim to create a strong pipeline of industry-ready graduates. Our shared vision is to bridge the education–industry gap and empower youth with future-ready skills that lead to meaningful and sustainable careers.”

Strong Governance and Measurable Impact

The MoU places strong emphasis on data privacy, intellectual property protection, transparency, and regulatory compliance. Both organizations will jointly conduct periodic reviews, monitoring, and outcome-based impact assessments to ensure measurable improvements in employability, placement readiness, and career progression indicators.

The partnership is non-exclusive, allowing flexibility for future collaborations while reinforcing a shared commitment to strengthening India’s skilling ecosystem.
