Capgemini Centre of Excellence Begins Onboarding for Data Analytics Batch; IMS Engineering College Students Show Strong Interest
IMS Ghaziabad students explored Capgemini’s placement-linked Data Analytics program, with 200+ showing interest in industry-ready skilling.

In a significant step toward strengthening industry-academia collaboration, a group of 65 students from IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad visited the Capgemini Centre of Excellence in Skilling, established under the initiative of IDEMIA India Foundation in collaboration with Aadhaar Association. The visit was organized for students shortlisted for the upcoming Data Analytics batch—one of the most sought-after placement-linked skilling programs offered at the centre.
The initiative received strong support from Ms. Ekta Singh, Head – Career Development Centre, IMS Engineering College, who played a key role in mobilizing and motivating students. According to her, nearly 200 students from the college have expressed willingness to join the program, reflecting the growing demand for industry-oriented training that can bridge the employability gap.
Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by Ms. Mitali Murlidharan, Centre Manager, who briefed them about the program structure, state-of-the-art infrastructure, placement opportunities, and the career pathways enabled through Data Analytics. She also addressed students’ questions, ensuring they gained complete clarity about the learning experience and the industry relevance of the program.
The coordination between the institute and the skilling centre has been effectively managed by Shri Rajiv Singh, Director, IACT Education, who is facilitating student onboarding for this batch. Speaking about the initiative, he shared, “Our objective is to prepare candidates who are ready to engage in the industry immediately after completing the course. The collaboration with IMS Engineering College helps us reach talented youth who can benefit greatly from this opportunity.”
The Capgemini Centre of Excellence is now in the process of finalizing the selection and onboarding of candidates for the new batch. With a curriculum designed to meet current industry standards, backed by practical training and placement support, the centre aims to ensure high-quality learning outcomes for all participants.
Expressing her appreciation, Ms. Ekta Singh acknowledged the efforts of IDEMIA India Foundation and Aadhaar Association in creating such impactful opportunities for students. She stated that such initiatives play a vital role in enhancing employability and preparing students for competitive roles in the IT-ITES sector.
With increasing interest from engineering students and strong institutional partnerships, the upcoming batch at the Capgemini Centre of Excellence is expected to set a new benchmark in quality training and successful placements in the field of Data Analytics.
